TT at Western New England U

The Department of Physical & Biological Sciences at Western New England University seeks applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Physics at the level of Assistant Professor, beginning in September 2015, contingent upon budget approval. Teaching responsibilities will be 12 credit hours per semester of introductory level physics in both lectures and laboratories for engineering, science, and non-science students. A Ph.D. in Physics is required.
Candidates must submit a cover letter, a current CV, a teaching statement, and a research statement to the following address. Also candidates must have three references send their letters of recommendation directly to the address below. Official transcripts of all course-work in higher education are required. (Unofficial transcripts are acceptable during the initial application.) While primarily a teaching institution seeking candidates with a strong commitment to teaching, scholarly activity is required for tenure consideration. The deadline for application is December 1, 2014.
