Assistant Professor, full-time, tenure-track position faculty member, beginning August 2015. The successful candidate will be expected to: i) teach all levels of undergraduate physics and introductory astronomy, ii) involve students in undergraduate research activities, preferably in astronomy, astrophysics, planetary or space science, and iii) serve the Department and the University through student advising, participation in shared governance, and outreach. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in developing, presenting, and promoting planetarium/observatory programs for the general public and students. The director of these facilities is provided with release time from classroom instruction.
