The Sage Colleges Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry, and The Sage Colleges Department of Mathematics, are offering a full-time Lecturer of Physics position starting August 2015. The position is a joint appointment.
Qualifications: Applicant must have a Ph.D. (completed by August 2015) in Physics with significant coursework in Mathematics, or a related discipline or combination of disciplines, as well as a minimum of one year of teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
The successful candidate will teach primarily introductory physics lecture and laboratory, with additional teaching assignments in mathematics as needed. Initial assignment will be at the co-educational Sage College of Albany, NY, with possible assignments at Russell Sage College for Women in Troy, NY.
The Sage Colleges include: Russell Sage College for women in Troy, NY, the coeducational Sage College of Albany, and the Sage Graduate Schools – of Education, Health Sciences & Management – operating on both campuses.
