The Department of Physics at Bowdoin College invites applications for a one-year full-time Visiting Assistant Professor position, with research specialization open, to begin July 1, 2015. The teaching load is two courses per semester. The successful candidate will demonstrate the potential for excellence in teaching and a commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education. A renewal of the position for a second year is possible. Requirements for the Ph.D. are expected to have been completed at the time of appointment.
