JOB DESCRIPTION: A nine-month faculty position responsible to the Dean, Engineering, Mathematics, and Physical Sciences and the Chair, Engineering and Physical Sciences for the following:
1. Teaching 15 contact hours in conceptual, general and calculus-based physics and engineering lectures and laboratories.
2. Maintaining office hours to be accessible for student conferences.
3. Assisting in curriculum development and selection of instructional materials.
4. Advising students as assigned by the dean and department chair.
5. Utilizing talents, academic background, and strong personal qualities to serve the best interest of students and the College.
6. Assuming other responsibilities, including committee assignments, designated by the dean or department chair.
7. Duties may include day, evening and weekend assignments.
8. Performing other duties as assigned.

5. Demonstrated interest in laboratory teaching and development.
6. Ability to work cooperatively, and good written and oral communication skills.
7. Interpersonal skills, which reflect total commitment to student development in all College activities, required.
8. Willingness to utilize latest technologies for instruction.
