Job Overview | The Drexel University Department of Physics seeks applications for a full-time 12-month teaching faculty appointment to teach in its undergraduate program beginning September 2015, but the start date is negotiable. |
Qualifications | The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. in physics or a closely related discipline. Prior teaching experience at the university level is desired. Candidates invited to campus will be expected to prepare a lecture aimed at an introductory undergraduate audience. Compensation will be competitive, and commensurate with experience. The initial appointment will be for 1 year. A successful fit may lead to multiple annual or multi-year renewals. |
Essential Functions | Duties will include undergraduate instruction at all levels, curricular and online development, and departmental service. |
