Lecturer at UT-Austin
The Department of Physics at The University of Texas at Austin has a Lecturer in Physics position open for September 2016. The Lecturer will guide the development of a physics assessment program that is to become a requirement for students entering the university who desire to take physics, and the Lecturer will also teach an introductory physics course. A major responsibility of the Lecturer will be to develop online learning modules for students who fail to achieve a passing score on the assessment test; the Lecturer will also develop further an existing assessment test. Applicants must have a Ph.D. and experience in teaching. Training in physics education and/or physics education research is highly recommended.
