Position Summary Information
General Description of Position
The Science Department is seeking two collaborative, energetic, and innovative individuals for full-time physics instructor positions. Position 1: Job duties include teaching astronomy, physical science and physics courses. Position 2: Job duties include teaching physical science and physics courses. In addition to teaching, both positions require instructional development, advising students, and College service. Teaching assignments may include both day and evening classes, online classes or hybrid classes on multiple campuses or high school and career center campuses.

Minimum Qualifications
Position 1: Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in astronomy and physics. Position 2: Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in physics.

Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to applicants with teaching experience in a community college; experience using current laboratory or field methods in teaching, research, or industry settings; and, documented use of multiple instructional methods.
