Click here for an example. The University of Virginia Department of Physics seeks applications to fill non-tenure track Instructional position(s) during the Fall 2016 and/or Spring 2017 semesters. This position is initially a one semester appointment to teach one or more Physics courses at the undergraduate level, with the possibility of renewal (depending on performance and the instructional needs of the department). Subject areas of particular need include, but are not limited to, introductory physics for undergraduates (majors, non-majors, engineering, and/or pre-med students). Compensation will take the form of wages with no benefits. A terminal degree is expected but not required. Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching.
