Responsibilities:
The candidate will teach courses in Physics and Physical Science. Specifically, they will be responsible for teaching Physical Science I and II, teaching General Physics I and II (algebra-based), and developing and teaching a two-semester sequence in calculus-based physics. They will also be responsible for designing and coordinating the labs for these courses. Future responsibilities may also include developing pre-Engineering courses, such as Statics and Dynamics. Other duties may include providing service to the department, college, and community, scholarly or professional development, and advising of students. Rank is expected to be at the Instructor level (non-tenure track), but it is open based on academic background and experience.

Required Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Physics or a Master's Degree in Engineering with at least 18 graduate hours in Physics.
Strong commitment to undergraduate education.
Experience in teaching in undergraduate courses or labs in Physics or Physical Science.
Preferred Qualifications:
Doctorate in Physics or a related field (with 18 graduate hours in Physics).
Experience as the primary instructor of a calculus-based physics course.
Experience in designing and running labs in a variety of Physics and Physical Science courses.
Experience in teaching courses using technology, teaching hybrid courses, or teaching Physical Science as an on-line course.
