The Wabash College Physics Department invites applications for a visiting position at the assistant professor level beginning July 1, 2017. Initial appointment is for one year, with renewal for a second year possible based on a determination of college circumstances and needs. ABD required; Ph.D. preferred. Candidates should be committed to excellent and innovative teaching in a liberal arts environment, able to teach a wide range of undergraduate courses to a diverse student body, and eager to work in a department that values close interaction with faculty and students. Ability to contribute to the advanced lab program is desired. Wabash offers a competitive salary and support for faculty development.
