ANNOUNCEMENT:
The Howard University School of Education (HUSOE) invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow in K-12 STEM Education. The fellow will assist in a National Science Foundation research project and collaborate with research faculty at Howard University and the College of William & Mary. The fellow will have opportunities to develop design-based research, co-author manuscripts and presentations nationally, and facilitate community outreach efforts.The position is based in the District of Columbia (D.C).
QUALIFICATIONS:
The postdoctoral researcher candidate should have a recently obtained Ph.D., Ed.D. or another equivalent degree in education and/or STEM teacher education, with a strong interest and research trajectory in creating equitable opportunities to learn for underserved students. Ph.D candidates will be considered who have a dissertation defense date set. An ideal candidate would have expertise in
mixed methods design and analyses, proficiency in collecting and managing data, strong writing skills with a track record of related peer-reviewed publications.
ADVERTISED SALARY:
Salary will be commensurate with the experience. Funding is available for two years from the date of hire.
