Director of Teaching Laboratories at College of William and Mary

The Department of Physics at the College of William and Mary (W&M) seeks applications for a Director of Teaching Laboratories. The successful applicant will have a PhD in Physics or a closely related field, and will: serve as manager of all introductory level undergraduate laboratories; manage the graduate teaching assistants for these labs; maintain and develop the equipment needed for the teaching labs; develop new and innovative laboratory experiments; and will teach one course per semester.

The W&M Physics Department currently has 28 full-time faculty members, approximately 75 PhD graduate students, and a substantial number of undergraduate majors who actively participate in its various research programs.
