McNeese State University invites qualified applicants for the position of Instructor of Physics in the Department of Chemistry and Physics. This is a full-time, 9-month, unclassified, non-tenure-track position. The appointment begins in August 2017.
Position Description and Responsibilities:
The Instructor of Physics is responsible for functions related to teaching physics at all levels of the undergraduate curriculum including labs, physical science course, calculus and non-calculus based physics course, and potentially upper level course depending on the need. The Instructor will work closely with faculty and students.
Qualifications:
Required: Masters degree in physics.
Preferred: Ph.D. in physics.
Salary: $40,000
