Sarah Lawrence College, a coeducational liberal arts college dedicated
to individualized education, is recruiting a broadly trained
physicist for a full-time guest position beginning August 2017. The
position is for one academic year and will include teaching our
algebra-based introductory physics seminar sequence with laboratory, as
well as two other seminar courses (preferably a statistical
mechanics course as well as an introductory-level course of your
choice).
- The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Physics
(or
be expected to complete the requirements for their degree by August
2017) and exhibit an interest and ability in working closely with
students on an individual basis.

of graduate transcript, brief descriptions of an introductory course and
an intermediate course suitable for liberal arts students, and two
letters of recommendation (at least one of which must address the
candidate's teaching ability). The deadline for first consideration of
