VAP at Bradley University

The Department of Physics at Bradley University invites applications for a full-time, one-year temporary Visiting Assistant Professor position to begin August 15, 2017, with the possibility of renewal beyond the one-year term.
Candidates must have a MS or PhD preferred in Physics or a related discipline and must demonstrate genuine interest in undergraduate education. The department encourages applications from candidates who could engage students in laboratory and who also have an interest in interactive teaching methods. We seek a conscientious teacher and a practicing physicist who will thrive in a four-year, liberal arts institution where close contact and collaboration with students are the norm. The successful candidate will typically teach four courses or equivalents per semester, with the possibility of one course equivalent for conducting research with undergraduate student collaborators
