Black Hills State University invites applicants for a full-time,
tenure-track, assistant professor position in Physics beginning August
2017.
REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate
will teach introductory physics, astronomy for non-majors, and other
physical science courses as needed, both
online and face to face. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in
Physics and demonstrated strengths in undergraduate science education
and in developing an ongoing research program in underground physics.
Black Hills State University offers opportunities for Physics
scholarship through a collaboration with the nearby Sanford Underground
Research Facility and the Sanford Science Education Center.
