New Doctoral Program at University of Illinois

The University of Illinois has announced a new doctoral program in the Learning Sciences, and they invite applications for admission for Fall 2008. The program is housed in the Graduate College of the university and draws on faculty from departments in the College of Engineering, the College of Education, and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. UIC's Learning Sciences Ph.D. program is the first of its kind to prepare students to address educational challenges through a focus on Learning in the Disciplines.

This 5-year program combines doctoral training in learning sciences with graduate-level coursework in an area of specialization (e.g.,chemistry, computer science, history, literacy, mathematics). For more information please visit the website http://grad.lsri.uic.edu/
