TT at Truman State university.

We seek a physicist and/or an astronomer who is strongly committed to quality teaching at an undergraduate institution, maintaining an active research program involving undergraduates, and participating in service to the department and the University. We are especially interested in candidates whose research specialization is in astronomy. We have a fully-equipped observatory on campus used for undergraduate research and public viewings. We are also a member of the NURO (National Undergraduate Research Observatory) consortium. Teaching expectations include introductory astronomy, introductory meteorology, and introductory and advanced undergraduate physics courses. Competitive start-up funds and a shared research laboratory will be provided.
