Instructor/Assistant Professor of Physics (16-49)

The Department of Physics, Astronomy, and Industrial Engineering at Francis Marion University invites applications for a full-time Instructor/Assistant Professor of Physics. This is a one-year, non-tenure track position that may be renewable at the discretion of the University for up to two additional years. Rank and salary depend on qualifications.

Teaching responsibilities typically involve Physics and Physical Science lectures and labs. Research and professional service are encouraged.

FM Requirements: Ph. D. in Physics is preferred, but candidates who are nearing completion of the doctorate or with a Master's degree in Physics or Engineering will be considered.

Start Date: August 2016
