Renewable Assistant Professor, United States Air Force Academy

UNITED STATES AIR FORCE ACADEMY. Assistant Professor of Physics (#16-55DFP). The Physics Department anticipates filling an Assistant Professor position beginning June 26, 2017. All full-time faculty are hired on a three year initial contract, followed by successive, four-year reappointments. The faculty reappointment is normally renewed annually for a new four-year period. Required: an earned doctorate in Physics, Nuclear Physics, or Nuclear Engineering and experience in experimentation and/or modeling and simulation of nuclear phenomena; minimum of two years teaching experience at the undergraduate level in physics courses (nuclear physics desirable); and experience in undergraduate course development and delivery, to include assessment.
