The Department of Physics and Astronomy invites applications for one Visiting Assistant Professor appointment for the 2017-2018 academic year. This is a temporary, non-tenure track position. Applicants must have a PhD in physics, experience in teaching physics at the college level, and good communication skills. Applicants with experience in active-learning and research-based teaching techniques are encouraged to apply, as we make the transition to teaching some of our classes in TEAL-type rooms.  The position may be extended subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds.
