Assistant Professor or Term Lecturer of Physics, Natural Sciences

PRIMARY DUTY: Applicant should be highly committed to teach undergraduates and motivated to perform undergraduate research. Candidate must be prepared to teach introductory and advanced level physics courses.
 Essential Functions:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
 
  1. Teach 24-26 credits per year with seven weekly office hours
  2. Teach and develop course material pertinent to teaching load including electronic materials for use in online courses
  3. Advise undergraduate students
  4. Serve the department and the university on committees as assigned
  5. Meet with students outside of class time for additional instruction as appropriate
  6. Establish undergraduate / graduate research, if hired as Assistant Professor
  7. Perform other duties as assigned by the Department

Experience: Teaching experience with favorable evaluations. Theoretical background preferred but not required.
