Purpose of Position
The Department of Physic, Geology and Engineering Technology at Northern Kentucky University invites applications for a Lecturer position beginning Fall of 2019. This is a non-tenure-track-renewable position.

The department offers baccalaureate degrees in physics, geology, and three specialties in engineering technology as well as pre-engineering transfer programs. The faculty of the department includes thirteen tenured/tenure-track faculty, five permanent lecturers, six full-time lecturers and a number of part-time faculty. Primary Responsibilities
The applicants should be committed to achieving excellence in teaching at all levels of undergraduate physics courses. The ability to teach astronomy is a plus. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in service, including department engagement with the community. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations is required. The successful candidate should possess a proven record of teaching excellence at the introductory and advanced level physics courses and should hold a Ph.D. in physics.
