The Department of Physics invites applicants for a full-time tenured or tenure-track faculty position in Physics Education Research, beginning as early as August 16, 2019. The PER group at the University of Illinois Department benefits from its full integration in the physics department, and the ability to work with outstanding students at all levels. The successful candidate is expected to teach effectively at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, have a strong record of publication, and to lead a vigorous research program at the cutting edge of the field.
