Trinity University’s Department of Physics and Astronomy invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor for the 2023-2024 academic year, beginning in August 2023. Teaching responsibilities will be three courses per semester, at both the introductory and advanced levels. Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in Physics or a closely related field by August 10, 2023.

JOB DUTIES

  • Teach a total of nine contact hours per semester (the equivalent of 6 courses during the 2023-24 academic year) to support the curricular needs of the department and the Pathways general education curriculum

  • Attend regular department meetings
