The Department of Computational Mathematics, Science, and Engineering anticipates an open-rank search for a tenure stream faculty member in the areas of data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence education this calendar year. This position might be joint with another department or program including the Department of Computer Science and Engineering; the Department of Statistics; the Department of Counseling, Educational Psychology, and Special Education; the Program in Mathematics Education; and the CREATE for STEM Institute. Preference will be given to candidates working in undergraduate education and whose research focuses on removing barriers for all students, ensuring a supportive learning experience in and outside the classroom, and/or promoting belonging among all students in their associated undergraduate programs.
