Quantum Leap Challenge Institute Program Manager, Yale Quantum Institute
With the launch of the NSF QLCI: The Physics and Engineering of Practical Quantum Error Correction (Practiqal), we are looking to hire a program manager to join our team at the Yale Quantum Institute.
Under the guidance of the Director of the NSF Quantum Leap Challenge Institute (QLCI) Practiqal program, and reporting to the YQI Managing Director, spearhead, implement, and execute the development of this new QLCI.
Practiqal, centered at Yale, focuses on advancing the state of the art in quantum error correction research, partnering with ~ 9 other institutions and ~25 investigators. The program manager will coordinate the workforce, education, and teaming, and programming activities of the QLCI and YQI.
For the QLCI, in conjunction with the relevant thrust leads, serve as part of the executive committee, act as a liaison to the external evaluation team, and assist with center-wide and thrust-level programming, evaluation, external relations, and visibility and communication.
Other activities will be conducted under the supervision of the YQI Director and managing director.
