TT at Ouachita Baptist University

Ouachita Baptist University invites applications for a tenure track position to begin August, 2012. A Ph.D. is required. The successful candidate must have a strong commitment to undergraduate education, including the teaching of courses for non-science majors. Some experience in engineering is preferred. Ouachita Baptist University is a four-year, church-related, liberal arts university which values Christian commitment as well as technical competence. The Department of Physics has a faculty of two. The Department offers a major in Physics with a concentration in traditional physics or engineering physics. In order to offer these programs, Ouachita’s Physics Department has a cooperative program with Henderson State University. Ouachita offers one or two upper level physics courses and Henderson offers two or three upper level courses each semester.
