Instructor at Mississippi State University
The Department of Physics and Astronomy seeks to fill a full-time non-tenure Instructor position. The successful applicant will teach the equivalent of four courses per semester of undergraduate courses in physics and/or physical sciences each semester as well as supervise teaching laboratories. The position will start August 16, 2013 or as soon thereafter as the position can be filled. Salary will depend on the qualifications and experience of the successful applicant.
Candidates must have at least a MS degree in physics or a related field. Experience as instructor of record for college physics and/or physical science classes is essential. Experience in teaching and the use of technology in teaching will be valuable in this position.
