VAP at Northern Michigan University

Northern Michigan University invites applications for a one year term position at the instructor level in the Physics Department for the 2013-2014 academic year. Qualified applicants will teach physics courses and labs at the introductory level, participate in department service activities, and perform other assignments as per departmental needs.

An earned doctorate in physics and evidence of scholarly activity is required.  ABD candidates will also be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with previous teaching experience at the undergraduate level for majors in physics (lower and upper level courses), and non-majors (algebra based intro courses).
