The University of Arkansas at Little Rock's Department of Physics and
Astronomy invites applications for a non-tenure track opening in the
department for an Instructor (R99180) for Fall 2014. This is a full
time, nine-month appointment. The University of Arkansas at Little
Rock's Department of Physics and Astronomy is dedicated to high quality
education at both undergraduate and graduate levels as well as
conducting research activities in a number of areas including
Astrophysics and Material Sciences.
The Instructor will be responsible for teaching undergraduate
courses in physics and astronomy. Other duties will include curriculum
development and implementation, developing and continuing departmental
partnerships, and participating in service activities in the
department, college, university, and community.

Minimum Qualifications: A Master's degree in Physics, Astronomy,
or closely related field. Experience teaching in Secondary or Higher
Education is preferred but not required.
