The Physics Department at Willamette University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor to fill a one-year appointment starting in August 2014. This position holds a possibility for renewal of up to two additional years. This position is eligible for medical and dental benefits. Qualifications: Applicants must have a Ph.D. (ABD considered) in physics and must demonstrate interest in teaching undergraduates in a liberal arts setting where faculty work closely with students. Experience or interest in teaching general-education Astronomy or Physics preferred but not required.
