Position Overview: The Physics Department seeks qualified applicants for a 1-year Physics Instructor position. Responsibilities include teaching physics courses within the Department of Physics (approx. 12-15 contact hours per semester). The primary teaching duties will be in the introductory physics sequences offered by the department and will involve both lecture and laboratory instruction. The department is instituting an integrated lecture/lab pedagogy and experience with this type of instruction would be highly valued.
Qualifications: A Ph.D. or ABD in physics and an established strong teaching record in introductory physics and excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
