Relevant experience teaching undergraduate learners, including adults, a familiarity with the use of technology in teaching, and strong written and oral communication skills are required. A willingness to supervise a small number of adjunct faculty, advise students in the major, and to instruct both introductory and advanced courses in Physics is imperative.

- Ph. D. from an accredited institution;
- Demonstrated mastery of relevant subject areas;
- A keen interest in helping people through teaching; competence in providing constructive feedback;
- Excellent written and communication skills; excellent organizational skills.
- Effectively interrelate subject area with other relevant disciplines and to real-life experience;
- Develop and execute instructional plans for maximum learning;
- Maintain accurate records of instructional effectiveness;
- Develop productive relationships with students and colleagues;
- Constructively evaluate students' assignments and expeditiously provide feedback;
- Maintain accurate records of student progress;
- Respond in a timely manner to requests for information and/or action;
- Collaborate in developing, maintaining, improving and innovating courses and their content.
