Position Description:
The
Department of Physics at North Dakota State
University is seeking a Visiting Assistant Professor or Lecturer in
Physics for a one-year appointment beginning August 16, 2014. The
successful candidate will be responsible for teaching two lecture
courses per semester.
Minimum Qualifications:
PhD in physics or related field for appointment at the Visiting
Assistant Professor level or Masters in physics or related field for
appointment at the Lecturer level. Demonstrated ability to teach
large-enrollment introductory service courses. Effective oral and
written
communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
College teaching experience, especially of large enrollment
service courses
