VAP at Carthage College WI

The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Carthage College seeks applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position beginning in the fall term of 2014. The initial appointment will be for one year, full time with a potential for renewal, depending on continued staffing needs. Candidates for this position must show a keen interest in teaching undergraduates in a liberal arts setting. Job responsibilities for this position include teaching algebra-based introductory physics courses in a studio-lab format as well as contributing positively to the department's mission of developing life-long learners. Applicants with a Ph.D. and teaching experience beyond a T.A. are preferred but A.B.D. applicants will also be considered.
