	GENERAL DUTIES
		Performs highly-skilled laboratory functions and other technical duties in support of coursework.  - Sets up, maintains, and organizes student laboratories - Assists students with setting up experiments and other learning exercises, and with the use of  equipment and materials - Maintains appropriate safety and hygiene standards - Maintains required documentation related to laboratory activities - Manages equipment and materials inventories. 	CAMPUS SPECIFIC INFORMATION
		Set up experiments for Physics, Astronomy, and Engineering courses.  Maintain equipment in working order including repairs.  May be required to set up and maintain labs for biology and/or chemistry course as assigned to cover for absences in those disciplines.  Maintain inventories of supplies and equipment.  Prepare orders for supplies and equipment for labs and other related purposes.  Attend departmental meetings.  Comply with all laboratory safety requirements.  Performs other related tasks appropriate for College Laboratory Technician as assigned.  Work schedule can include mornings, evenings, and weekends.
	MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
		High School Diploma with a minimum of four years' related experience.  Additional education may be used to meet the experience requirement: an Associate degree may be substituted for two years experience, and a Bachelor's degree may be substituted for four years experience.
	OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
		- Strong interpersonal skills and basic computer knowledge are highly recommended - BA/BS in physics or engineering preferred
	COMPENSATION
		$36,795 - $54,848
