Newman University in Wichita, Kansas, a higher

Newman University seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics for
a 9 month appointment beginning Fall 2014. In Fall 2014 a search for a
tenure-track appointment will commence and the successful candidate in
this search will be encouraged to apply. Teaching responsibilities for
the tenure track position will include Physical Chemistry and
participation in the Liberal Arts curriculum.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Visiting Assistant Professor will teach Physics (and the corresponding labs) for Biology and Chemistry majors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred - Ph.D. in either Physics or Physical Chemistry and a strong interest in teaching and mentoring students.
