The Department of Physics
anticipates filling an Assistant Professor position beginning June 29, 2015.
The initial appointment will be for three years, terminating on June 30, 2018.
Successive reappointments of up to four years in length are possible.
Responsibilities include: teaching undergraduate physics courses, fulfilling
associated departmental duties including evaluation of newly established
courses; and engaging in research activities with cadets. A Ph.D. in a Physics
specialty or a letter signifying degree completion is required by the start
date. Preference will be given to recent Ph.D. graduates (within the last 5
years) who have demonstrated excellence and innovation in undergraduate
research and teaching.
