The Department of Physics at North Central College invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of assistant professor to begin September 1, 2015. A Ph.D. in Physics or a closely related field is required; postdoctoral experience is preferred. Candidates are expected to teach a range of courses from general education to senior level and to develop a research program accessible to undergraduates. All research specialties will be considered. Applicants should exhibit strong potential for excellence in undergraduate teaching and mentoring.
