Wofford College invites applications for a tenure-track position in physics. Candidates should have a background in experimental physics or materials science and be committed to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level. The candidate should be willing to teach all courses from introductory level to the senior level major courses and have a strong interest in teaching at a liberal arts college. A Ph.D. in physics or closely related field is required. Candidates should include a letter of application, curriculum vitae, copies of graduate transcripts, a statement of teaching philosophy at a liberal arts institution, a statement of research that could involve undergraduates and 3 letters of recommendation.
