Position Summary |
The Department of Physics invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track Lecturer position. The initial appointment will be for one academic year, and may be renewed on a yearly basis depending on availability of funds and performance. The position will most likely involve teaching two or three physics courses each semester. Salary is commensurate with experience and contingent upon sufficient course enrollment.
Candidates should have experience with the techniques and topics central to the understanding of Physics.
Our faculty and students are constantly working on a wide variety of topics across all major physics disciplines. We’re exploring the boundaries of what’s known at the largest and smallest scales in the universe and stretching the limits of what’s possible in the manipulation of matter and energy.
Research in our department tackles the topics that are defining today’s expanding scientific horizons. Whether experimental or theoretical, abstract or concrete, we recognize unsolved problems as opportunities for scientific breakthroughs.
