The Department of Physics at Lawrence University invites applications for a two-year appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics to start 9/1/16 (pending funding).  Applicants must hold the Ph.D. degree in physics, astronomy, or a closely related field and must demonstrate genuine interest in working with undergraduates. We seek a conscientious teacher and a practicing physicist who will thrive in a four-year, liberal arts institution where close contact and collaboration with students are the norm. Prior teaching and/or postdoctoral experience preferred.
