Outreach coordinator at UW-Madison

Physics Education Outreach Coordinator, University of Wisconsin-Madison
The Department of Physics at the University of Wisconsin is seeking an Outreach Specialist. The principal duties of the position are:

Presentation and coordination of the Wonders of Physics Shows (70%)

Maintenance and development of demonstrations and the website (15%)

Development of funding strategies (10%)

Planning and coordination of outreach programs (5%)

We are seeking candidates with a BS in Physics or related field with at least 2 years of broad experience and demonstrated achievement in special event programming and promotion. Experience working within a University or Science Technology Center preferred.
