The Department of Physics at Susquehanna University invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor beginning in the 2015-16 academic year.
Qualifications: We seek outstanding candidates with an earned Ph.D. in physics or a related field. Relevant post-doctoral research experience is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities: We are seeking an excellent teacher of physics with a demonstrated record of advising and mentoring undergraduate students in research. The teaching duties may include introductory courses in general physics, and electronics as well as some non-majors courses and upper level electives in the physics major. The successful candidate is expected to initiate and maintain a vigorous research program involving undergraduate students along with institutional service for the good of the university.
