PHYSICS EDUCATION RESEARCH

The
Department of Physics invites applications for a full-time tenured or
tenure track faculty position in Physics Education Research beginning as
early as August 16, 2019. Appointments at the Assistant Professor level
will be given preference, but appointments at a higher level will be
considered for exceptionally well-qualified candidates. A Ph.D., or
equivalent, is required, along with the ability to teach effectively at
both undergraduate and graduate levels and to conduct a vigorous and
significant research program. Ideal
candidates include those who demonstrate evidence of a commitment to
diversity, equity, and inclusion through research, teaching, and/or
service endeavors. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications.
Qualified
senior candidates may also be considered for tenured full Professor
positions as part of the Grainger Engineering Breakthroughs Initiative.
