TT at Rocky Mountain College

Rocky Mountain College invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in Physics to begin August 2012. The successful candidate must be committed to both excellent teaching and contributing to the growth of the physics program. Classes taught will range from entry level to upper level undergraduate. A PhD in Physics is required for this position. The successful candidate will be expected to teach an average course load of 12 credits each semester for the first year. In subsequent years the successful candidate will pursue a program of research appropriate for undergraduate participation and teach 9 credits in addition to a 3 credit undergraduate research program each semester.
