Instructor, Full-Time One-Year Appointment (Division Chair Replacement). This position is to replace the current division chair and is reviewed for reappointment annually.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Physics or related area (with a minimum of 18 graduate credits in Physics or closely related field)from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning completed by May, 2012. Demonstrated currency in Physics or Physics Education. Recent teaching experience (full-time, adjunct, or teaching assistant). Ability to teach using a variety of formats including the use of technology as a learning tool. Demonstrated ongoing and current professional growth.
Position will remain open until filled. START DATE: Fall 2012.
