NTT at Goucher College [Readvertised]

Goucher College's Department of Physics invites applications for a one-year sabbatical-replacement position in physics at the assistant professor level, beginning Fall 2013.

The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in physics or a related field, with the ability to teach across the undergraduate physics curriculum. Successful candidates will provide evidence of their commitment to excellence in teaching.

Goucher College is a selective liberal arts college located in Towson, Maryland, twenty minutes north of Baltimore. As the first traditional liberal arts college in the country to require all undergraduate students to study abroad, Goucher is well known for its academic rigor, global perspective, and sense of community. The college's strategic plan emphasizes environmental sustainability and international and intercultural experiences. There are opportunities for faculty to develop courses and experiences with an international focus.
